4th International Student ConferenceThe
International Student Conference concept is bringing together students
and graduates from the Baltic Sea region in order to discuss tourism
projects and thesis related topics. The conference will deliver
opportunities to broaden the cultural horizon and latest research and
findings are providing new insights into the Leisure and Tourism
Industry. This year the topic is „The Baltic Sea Region - One Tourism
Destination?“. The International Student Conference 2008 is taking
place within the framework of the „Initiative zur gemeinsamen
touristischen Vermarktung der Ostseeregion“, which is coordinated by
the Ministry for Economic Affiars and Labour and by the tourist board
of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with the major event being the „1.
OstseeTourismusgipfel 01./02. Oktober 2008 in Rostock“.
